Dear Kristine Bella,
My name is Wendy and I am an art therapy student at SMWC. I live in Sisters, OR and hope to offer art therapy services in Central Oregon. I’m interested in observing your facility and possibly shadowing an art therapist for a day. This is part of my Clinical I course at SMWC. I am interested in learning what you do at Free Arts NW and NWBHS how you encorporate art therapy. I look forward to speaking with you about this possibility. Please email or call (541)389-6859. Thank you for your consideration,
I am the founder of Children’s Healing Art Project…www.chap.name. I am currently on a sabbatical to make art from the life lessons I have learned through making art with dying children. The new work will partner children with longterm healthcare issues with local artists, businesses and schools to create a new paradigm in outreach where patients become teachers and tragedy is transformed into philanthropy.
I believe in your work and together children can inspire children to make this a better world.

I was referred to your program. I want to know about opportunities this summer. Please let me know what is available. I am 15 and live in Multnomah County.
Melissa and I enjoyed meeting you at the Changemakers event on Friday. I hope you and Melissa find ways to work together. Please let me know how I can help facilitate that.
